Already at the cutting edge but taking it a step further – always looking for superior technical solutions.This is one of our credos when we develop new watch models.A credo that we especially refined when we developed the anniversary edition of our Model 6000 for the 40th anniversary of the Sinn company in the year 2001. According to standards of “classic” Sinn watches this is certainly an especially valuable watch – a value that cannot be measured in a name or an image however.Our Anniversary Model 6000 is defined by its inner values,such as the use of unique materials, representing the real value of the watch.

In the year 1999 we introduced the Frankfurt Finance Watch,a chronograph with three time zones.Just as beautiful,just as large in diameter, though perhaps a bit more graceful, we are now presenting the Frankfurt World Time Watch.

A Sinn for exceptional conditions was created in intensive cooperation with the internationally famous extreme diver Mario M.Weidner: A mechanical diver’s chronograph that is not only pressure-resistant to 300 meters of water depth,but also guarantees rate precision and reliable functions at unusually cold temperatures. It passed the endurance test at the North Pole with flying colors.The watch not only survived all of the dives made in the ice-cold water of the Arctic Sea above the 81st line of latitude,the sauna on board of the research ship also left the watch “cold.”The actual test constituted the extreme changes in temperature between land and sea.While the freezing point tended to be the average temperature in water, the temperature reached up to -25 °C on land.For a watch worn over the sleeve of a wetsuit, this was quite a challenge.An unusual test,exciting and extreme – and in the end proof that the concept was a success.

Without Felix Wankel there would be no Sinn Model 303 RX-8! This timepiece represents an homage to the ingenious inventor, kicked into gear by the only automobile manufacturer presently giving the Wankel engine a chance: Mazda. The first 888 purchasers of the RX-8 sports car received this watch as a special limited model with red printing on the stop hand as well as the second hand in the shape of a rotary piston.
