Kobold Pulsometer Chronograph

The Pulsometer Chronograph is the ideal watch for professionals in the medical field. The watch was created to serve as a professional-grade medical instrument that can be used as back-up device for measuring pulse rates. The design of the Pulsometer Chronograph is consistent with this purpose – to grant the wearer easier access to the chronograph start and stop button, which must be used to obtain an accurate pulse rate, the push buttons and winding crown are placed at the left side of the case. This allows users who are right-handed and therefore wear their watch on the left wrist a more comfortable method to use the watch while taking a person’s pulse.

The placement of the crown and push buttons, combined with the copper dial with applied hour indices, as well as the classic case design make this a most unique Kobold watch. Its uni-directional rotating bezel allows the user to measure elapsed minutes, while the chronograph simply serves to measure seconds. The dial features a pulsemeter which, in combination with the chronograph seconds hand, allows for accurate pulse measurements to be taken. The pulsemeter scale is based on thirty pulsations.

Like all Kobold watches, the Pulsometer Chronograph features a rugged case and reliable movement. The case itself consists of 46 individual parts. The winding-crown and exhibition back are screw-locked, the crown and push buttons are protected via an ingenious, screw-locked metal brace. The strap bars at the lugs and buckle are screw-locked, too, ensuring that the watch remains securely fastened to the wearer’s wrist. The automatic-winding chronograph movement displays the date in addition to the time and elapsed seconds and is decorated with Geneva stripes and polished screws.

The Pulsometer Chronograph comes on a hand-stitched, genuine Louisiana alligator strap with signed buckle. The watch arrives in a wooden collector’s box. Limited to 250 watches.
